We are calling on the UK Government to introduce strong regulations that require all AI-generated videos to include visible and permanent watermarks, disclaimers or other distinguishing markers. These safety measures would make it instantly clear when content is artificially created, helping the public separate real from fake and protecting people from digital harm.

Covid -19 was an unprecedented time. The catastrophic impact of the pandemic. Has yet to be measured. However, the lack of provision and the loss of life will always be remembered, as it altered life for us all. Many people lost their jobs unexpectedly, causing severe financial hardship, devastation, and avoidable loss.
The UK Government eventually executed Furlow schemes, but it did NOT stop companies from using the pandemic as an opportunity to restructure and cut jobs, adding to heartfelt loss on top of grieving the loss of our loved ones.
We are now calling for the UK Government to ensure job security by:

Adding a pause period of a minimum 6 months before starting restructuring or redundancies

Limit redundancies during national emergencies

Proof of financial necessity for large- scale layoffs
